Updating bios sony vaio

Sony has advised Vaio laptop owners not to update to Windows 10 until their machines have been optimized for Microsoft’s latest operating system. The Japanese company is preparing driver updates, but some users could be waiting until next year to receive them.I downloaded a fresh ISO from microsoft website, wrote a dvd and installed it from the of drivers were then required which i downloaded them all from sony support website and installed them.Sadly, i lost ALL the options available in Vaio Control Centre (The battery management) section gone, all the security hardware bits gone just sound and power management feature available. To update the BIOS on a Sony Vaio, visit the official Sony website and download the BIOS update for the correct computer model.Follow all prompts that pop up after opening the utility download file. To open it and start the installation process, double click on it once the download is complete.Somehow after re-installing the windows the battery charging option remained intact and it charged till 80% max (just the way i loved it) and the usb charging when laptop turned off was working fine too.UNTIL, on 27th may vaio update prompted about bios update, which i did and i lost USB charging aswell as Battery 80% max charge cap.

The Sony bios is still aboard, but old enough to not have USB "booting" as part of the boot menu.i installed all the drivers and applications but vaio control centre is not showing all the options including (BAttery Management) (USB CHARGING) and other goodies too? how should i configure USB Charging (when shutdown) ? because i ADORED that feature and i use that all the time because its very very handy.3. Sony no longer owns the Vaio business — it was sold to another Japanese company in 2014 — but it is obligated to continue supporting existing models. It has confirmed that it is “preparing to provide information about our Windows 10 Upgrade program for supported VAIO models,” but it “strongly” recommends that you avoid upgrading to Windows 10 in the meantime.
